Dr. R. Chitra Shobana, works as an
assistant Professor of English at A.P.A. College of Arts and Culture, Palani.
She has been in the teaching profession for about 13 years. She has been a part
of the regular stream of Teaching since January 2009. She has acquired her
doctorate in March 2016. Since then, she has to her credential of being an
M.phil., guide to 7 students.She has been one among the organisers of having
conducted State and National level seminars in her institution. Her contribution is prolific in the area of
articles publication in Journals and edited volumes. She also has the credit of
having given a special lecture at a Faculty development programme on the topic Teaching Drama: With Special reference to
Shakespearean Tragedies. She has chaired two sessions in national level seminars.
