Dr. R. Vithya Prabha is working as Professor and Head, Department of English,
Dr.N.G.P. Arts and Science College, Coimbatore. She has completed Post Graduate
and Master of Philosophy from Avinashilingam Deemed University, Coimbatore and
Doctor of Philosophy from Kongunadu Arts & Science College, Coimbatore in
the year 2013. The area of specialisation is American Literature. She has 15
years of experience in the Academics. She has been acted as chairperson in
various conference and seminars. She has edited a book, contributed 3 chapters
and published 18 papers in the reputed International Journals. Seven scholars
completed their M.Phil. and two scholars are undergoing their research work
under her guidance. Five scholars are undergoing their Ph. D. research work under
her guidance. She has received Best
Professor – Research Contribution Award, Best Research Guide Award and Best
Research Department Award under the Leadership from Dr. N. G. P.
Arts and Science College, Coimbatore.
