Arghya Singh,
the poet of In Memory of Netaji Subhas
Chandra Bose, the Unforgotten Hero has penned the poem to pay tribute to
India’s legendary freedom-fighter Subhas Chandra Bose. This poem is probably
the first one ever written upon the great nationalist leader cum
freedom-fighter. The poet passed B.A. English (Hons.) from Raiganj College
(University College) standing first class first in the University of North Bengal
and thereafter, completed his M.A. in English from Banaras Hindu University
(B.H.U.) with first class marks. He qualified in the West Bengal State
Eligibility Test (W.B.S.E.T.). He also successfully cracked the National
Eligibility Test (N.E.T.) twice. He is a full-time Ph.D. research scholar in
English at Ranchi University. He has authored many scholarly articles for some
international journals of English Literature. He has also presented papers at
some national and international seminars and conferences.
