B.Chitra is an Associate Professor in English at Ethiraj College for Women, Chennai. She has sixteen years of teaching experience.Her experience varies from teaching core courses to B.A English, B.A English Literature and Communication Skills, Soft Skills and Foundation English to students across disciplines. She specializes in subjects like British Literature, Shakespeare,Translation Studies, Gender Studies, Mythology and Communication Skills. Her area of research includes the influence and relevance of culture and mythology in life and literature. She has a keen interest in Creative Writing. She writes poems and short stories in Tamil.
