Ivan Ling Chen Chuen is currently pursuing his Master in English Literature at Universiti Malaya and
works as
Editor at Sunway University Press. A zealous reader and writer of all things
literary, he studied English Literature and Creative Writing at the University
of Nottingham (Malaysia). There, he held the Co-Editor in Chief position for
its literary outlet, Particle Magazine. Being a writer and a poet (wrote and performed), Ivan’s poetry has
been published in Particle Magazine’s Issue 18: Adrift,
and the upcoming Issue 20: Kaleidoscope. His book review on
Shivani Sivagurunathan’sBeing Born has also just been published in the Southeast
Asian Review of English (SARE). In 2022, Ivan won the Kuching Green
Microfiction Challenge, hosted by Kuching Beach Cleaners and Sarawak
Eco-Warriors. Ivan is researching the works by Malaysian poets in the English
language.
