Manojit Chanda is a doctoral candidate in the Department of
English Literature at The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad.
He has qualified for UGC-NET JRF in English with 99 percentile. His research
interests include film studies, the intersection between literature and cinema,
adaptation studies, literary biopics, urban studies, urban spaces and
representation, and folk literature. He completed his postgraduate degree in
English from Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University. He also has the experience
of working as a guest lecturer at Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University.
