Dr. Jayashree Mukherjee is Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of
English, Mahishadal Girls’ College, Purba Medinipur, West Bengal, India. She
received her PhD from Burdwan University in 2019. She has completed Master’s
Degree in English from Banaras Hindu University in 2011 and graduated from MUC
Women’s College, Burdwan University in 2009. She has also been attached with
Mahatma Gandhi University since 2021, serving the university as a visiting
faculty.
