Dr.
Yugeshwar Sah is an Assistant Professor & Head,
Department of English, C. M. Sc. College, Darbhanga a constituent unit of LNMU,
Darbhanga (Bihar). He has been teaching English language and literature for
eight years. He had also worked as Translation Officer at the Ministry of
Commerce, Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi before joining to this service. He has
published more than two dozens of research papers in the esteemed Journals and
has presented more than two dozens of
papers in various national and
international conference across India. His areas of interest include Translation
Studies, Cinema and Film Adaptation Studies, Contemporary Discourses in Hindi
and Maithili literature, Dalit Studies, Disability Studies and Indian
Literatures in Translation. He has translated a Maithili Novel Prithviputra by
Lalit into English which is under publication.
He is also actively engaged in translating short stories from the Hindi
and Maithili into English and vice-versa. Apart from this, he has been
devotedly involved in social service and
profoundly engaged in teaching
economically deprived, socially marginalised and educationally weaker
sections of our society for two decades.
