Probal Ganguly is an M.A. English student at the
University of Calcutta, specializing in literary studies. His research
interests lie at the intersection of queer theory, Asian literature, and the
representation of marginalized identities. Specifically, he focuses on queer
epistemology in Asian literature, the exploration of AAVE (African American
Vernacular English) in both literature and popular culture and the construction
of the female body and its relationship to subjecthood. Probal has actively
participated in workshops and seminars related to his research areas, fostering
his critical thinking and research skills. He graduated with distinction,
earning a First Class Honors degree (Grade A) in English Literature from the
University of Calcutta.
