Sanghamitra Ghatak, Assistant Professor
at Brainware University, is pursuing her PhD from Viswa-Bharati University. She
has been internationally awarded for her participation in a writing contest.
She has held a state level panel discussion about Gender, Sexuality and Queer
representation. Her interest areas include Cultural Studies, Theatre, Gothic
Literature and Graphic Narratives. She has different publications, both in
national and international journals. She previously worked as a guest lecturer at
Al-Ameen Memorial Minority College, visiting Faculty at Sister Nivedita
University and as an Assistant Professor in iLead. She has acted as an Academic
Counsellor for NSOU, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Government College, New Town as well.
She has previously taken formal training in the field of dramatics both for the
proscenium and street theatre
