Amit Pandey is a PhD Research Scholar at Ranchi University. He is a dedicated
scholar and aspiring educator with a strong passion for literature. He
completed his M.A. in English Literature from Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University,
Purulia, in 2021 and qualified UGC-NET examination 3 times. His academic
pursuits are reflected in his published work, including the article “Border
Issues in Saadat Hasan Manto’s Short Story Toba Tek Singh”, which appeared in
Akademos: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Language and Culture Studies, and
“Restoring the Symphony of Nato(u)re: An Ecocritical Reading of Jibanananda
Das’s Poem Banalata Sen” appeared in New Literaria. He has presented the paper
“Unravelling Trauma in Mahesh Dattani’s Tara: An Interdisciplinary Approach” at
a National Seminar on Converging Crossroads of Humanities: Memory, Literature,
AI, ELT, and Unmapped Territories of the New World, sponsored by ICSSR, and
organized by PG Department of English, Alphonsa College, Pala, Kerala, India.
Amit has also gained teaching experience as an Assistant Professor of
Communicative English at CMRCET, Hyderabad. His poems, such as “Love in Cactus
Land”, and “Remembering Shakespeare on His 456th Birthday” published
in Creative Flight: An International Half-Yearly Open Access Peer-Reviewed
E-Journal in English.
