Aneesha
Dutta
is an independent researcher and a master’s graduate from Daulat Ram College,
University of Delhi, specializing in History. Her academic interests focus on
exploring colonial policies and their interactions with societal structures,
emphasizing the enduring legacies of these historical processes. Aneesha has
previously worked on archival and heritage projects, developing her skills in
documentation and evidence-based analysis. She is currently interning with the
World Heritage Society, where she contributes to research on historical and
cultural narratives of Uttar Pradesh. In her recent work, Aneesha has delved
into the issue of corporal punishment, critically examining its historical
roots, societal impact.
