LIFE BEGINS AT SIXTY

We, the Senior citizens,
assemble in our own clubs here n there
To spend time happily with
dear ones' embrace, love n care
We exchange our varied experiences
with each other
And feel as members of an
extended family living near n far.
Here we feel staying in a
house in contact with dear faces
And get the opportunity to
know each other's needs n surpluses
Sharing n caring of which
help us lead a decent life
Or to get set with peers n
cheers freely or with no strife.
'Life begins at sixty' is
not only a saying
It unchains many new things
n looks to be paying
A new sense of freedom to
stick to hobbies galore
With the beloved n the dear
ones, the more and more.
Oh dear senior citizens,
let's cement this bond of familial relationship
Extending our collects
sincere, honest n with gratitude deep
To solve problems, if any,
coming to our old age routine
And face life not only challenging but enjoy
it as charming, rewarding n evergreen.
