Raj
Shekhar Barman is an ICSSR Doctoral Fellow in the
Department of English Literature at The English and Foreign Languages
University, Hyderabad. He holds an MPhil in English from Vidyasagar University,
West Bengal; an MA in English from Rabindra Bharati University, West Bengal;
and a BA from the University of Calcutta, West Bengal. He had worked as a
research intern at the Indian Knowledge Systems Division, Ministry of
Education, Government of India. His areas of academic interest include Dalit
and Tribal Studies, Mythology, Folklore, Art Criticism, Art historiography,
Aesthetics, etc.
