Saswati Paul is an emerging writer and
literature student at Cotton University, Assam. Passionate about storytelling,
she finds inspiration in everyday moments, transforming them into narratives
that preserve emotions and experiences. Saswati’s work often explores themes of
identity, history, and the unseen layers of human connection. She won first
place in a university short story collection competition and is now venturing
into publishing. Apart from writing, she volunteers as an English teacher at
U&I, a charitable trust, believing in the power of language to shape
perspectives. Saswati also enjoys origami, seeing it as another form of
storytelling—folding memories into tangible creations. Through her stories, she
aims to contribute to a more inclusive literary landscape, one that amplifies
diverse voices and untold histories.
