Subrata Barman is a Ph.D. Scholar atCooch Behar PanchananBarma
University, Cooch Behar, West Bengal, India. Apart from pursuing PhD, he is a
creative writer, too. He loves to write poems and short stories. Some of his
poems have already been published in magazines and anthologies. He has a
contribution to fiction, a short story, published in the journal “Caesurae:
Poetics of Cultural Translation” in 2023. Additionally, his critical works
featured in numerous books like “Brainwash and Brutality: Representation of
Women Characters in the film The Kerala Story” in the book Women and
