Dr.
Aditya Ghosh is currently teaching as an Assistant
Professor in the Faculty of Liberal Arts, ICFAI University, Tripura. Having
graduated from Burdwan University, Dr. Ghosh pursued his M.A. from Pondicherry
Central University. After his Masters he enrolled himself in the English and
Foreign Languages University (EFLU) Hyderabad for PGDTE program. While studying
in EFLU, Hyderabad, he cleared UGC-NET with JRF, and took admission for PhD in
Pondicherry University. His PhD research focused on the emergence of Populism
in Indian academia with a special attention on contemporary publications and
politics of popularity. During his PhD tenure he completed a One Month
internship on Digital Humanities from IIT Indore. He was part of the Indian
team of a Digital Humanities project, a MHRD sponsored collaborative SPARC
project between Pondicherry University, IIT Kharagpur and Western Sydney
University, Australia. He has published many research articles, and the latest
article titled “Disciplinary power and practices of body politics: an
evaluation of Dalit women in Bama’s Sangati
and P. Sivakami’s The Grip of Change
through Foucauldian discourse analysis” was published in a Springer-Nature
journal in 2021. He has published various research articles in numerous
National and International journals. His area of specialization includes
British Literature, Indian Writing in English, Literary Theory, and English
Language Teaching.
