Dr. Nupur Sinha holds a Masters in
English Literature and Ph.D. in Linguistics. She is currently employed as
“Guest Faculty” in English at NLUJA. Her thesis titled ‘A Descriptive Grammar
of Koro’, is the first comprehensive grammatical account of Koro language. Her
research interest includes English Literature, Indian Writing in English, Linguistic
Typology, Tibeto-Burman Linguistics, South-Asian Linguistics and Documentation
of Endangered Languages. Dr. Sinha has contributed as an editor and translator
with translation works in Assamese, English, and Hindi. She has also published research
papers and book chapters in the domain of both literature and linguistics.
