Dr.
Rakhi Sawlani is an approved faculty member of the University of Mumbai, where
she served for six years and currently engaged as an independent researcher,
with active involvement in academic writing, editing, report writing, content
creation, data analysis, peer reviewing scholarly manuscripts for reputed
journals. She has actively participated in various minor and major government-funded
projects and has developed learning material for undergraduate courses. She has
been commended for her role as a STEM Trainer, delivering sessions for B.Ed.
students as part of a short-term course on STEM Learning integrated with Arts.
Her academic contributions include co-authoring two books, publishing
anthologies, writing over 25 journal papers and10 book chapters. She has also
contributed significantly to the domain of educational assessment by developing
and standardizing tools, published by the National Psychological Corporation. Before
her journey into academics, she also worked for nearly five years in a multinational
bank, bringing a rich blend of corporate and educational experience. Her
passion lies in sensitizing stakeholders to critical socio-educational, mental
health, gender-related issues at both global and local levels and addressing
current societal challenges through thoughtful and evidence-based scholarship.
She is a strong advocate for the integration of moral values and cultural ethos
in education and is consistently engaged in developing innovative pedagogical
approaches for digital learners.
