Sayantani Roy is an Assistant
Professor at Uttar Banga Maheshwari College, affiliated to the University of
North Bengal. She is also pursuing her Ph.D. at University of North Bengal. She
has done her graduation from North Bengal University, and has obtained her
Master’s degree from Banaras Hindu University. Her area of interest consists of
films, mythology and children’s literature. She has published research papers
