Dilwar Hossain is presently working as an
Assistant Professor in the Department of English, Dwijendralal College. He has
worked as a Research Assistant in an ICSSR funder major research project on the
Myth and Oral Narratives of North-East India. Also, he has successfully worked
as a Citizen Historian under the 1947 Partition Archive, Berkeley, USA. His
documentary on witnessing the Partition and Migration has been preserved for
lifetime by Sanford University Library. Mr. Hossain is currently pursuing his
doctoral research under the supervision of Prof. Sipra Mukherjee, West Bengal State
University. Literary Geography, Cultural Studies and Borderland Studies are
among the key areas of his research interest.
