Dr. Sigma Satish
is a poet and academic based in Trivandrum. She was a formerfaculty of English
at SCT, under the Ministry Of Manpower, Oman, and presently HoD of English at
VTMNSS College. She has authored many books. Her latestbook World at Large -
Haiku poems has been published by Kerala State Balasahitya Institute. Her poems
have appeared in Poem Hunter, SETU, Kabita Live, Creative Saplings, Creative
Minds, Muse India, Rock Pebbles, Kavya Kishore, and many anthologies. Awards
and honors include the Mirabhai Literary Award from the Organization of United
Working Journalist Forum supported by the Public Relations Department, Puri,
Govt of Odisha on National Press Day 2016, a recipient of the Cochin Lit Fest
Prize 2019 and received Bharat Sevak Samaj Honor 2023. She is a poet delegate
at several prestigious National and International Poetry festivals like the
Saarc Lit Festival, World Congress of Poetry, Poetic Prism, Kalinga Lit Fest, Chandrabhaga
Lit Fest, etc.
