Dr. Sonali Das is an Associate Professor of
English in the PG Department of Language and Literature at Fakir Mohan
University, Balasore where she teaches PG and PhD Coursework students, and
guides research scholars. Recently she co-edited a book titled, Revisiting
William Shakespeare, W. B. Yeats and T. S. Eliot: Festschrift in Honour of Professor
Rupin W Desai, which was published by Authors Press, New Delhi in 2023. She has
published extensively in UGC CARE, Scopus Indexed, Google Scholar and other
peer reviewed journals. Her book titled, National Identity and Cultural
Representation in the Novels of Arundhati Roy and Kiran Desai was published by
Cambridge Scholars Publishing in 2018. Her areas of interest are Postcolonial
Literature, Literature and Cinema, Literature and Myth, and Gandhian Literature.
