Dr. Tahiti Sarkar (1988) is Assistant Professor of the
Department of History, University of North Bengal, Darjeeling, India. She
has been engaged in studies of South Asian Environmental History in various
capacities and the recipient of Medals for Academic Excellence, Project Grants
(2020-21), and Scholarships. Besides being deeply engaged in academic exercises
in publishing over 30 research articles in the Academic Journals and Edited
Books, she is engaged in Teaching both Post Graduate, M.Phil. and Research
Course Work Students and has supervised the researches of the M.Phil. &
Doctoral Students.
