Malabika Sinha is working as
an Assistant Professor in English at Ananda Chandra College of Commerce,
Jalpaiguri. Her article “Locating Ecological Sensibility: An Insight into
the The Hungry Tide" is published in “International Journal of
Afro-Asian Studies”. She has presented papers in diverse topics, in
national and international seminars, for instance, “Water in a Vulnerable
State: Influence of Literature in Eco-awareness”, “Nature and Literature:
Eco-critical Reading of Selected Poems of Mamang Dai", “Negotiating Spaces
in a Gendered Society: A Study of Selected Plays of Mahesh Dattani”. There
are several book chapters based on different themes, published in different
edited books. Her area of interest encompasses postcolonialism, women’s
studies, ecocriticism, ecofeminism, cultural studies and Indian English
Literature.
