Susanta Pramanik is a State Aided College Teacher (SACT-I) in
the Department of Philosophy at Hijli College, Kharagpur, West Medinipur, West
Bengal, India. He holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy from Vidyasagar
University. His academic interests primarily include practical ethics, Buddhist
philosophy, social philosophy, and political philosophy. His research focuses
on ethical issues in contemporary society, with particular attention to
environmental ethics, moral responsibility, and non-Western philosophical
traditions. Through his teaching and research, he seeks to explore the
relevance of classical philosophical traditions in addressing modern moral and
social challenges.
