Sangita Saha is a professional
author and aspiring academic researcher based in Falakata, Alipurduar, West
Bengal. She holds a Master’s degree in English and has achieved significant
academic milestones, including qualifying for the National Eligibility Test
(NET) under the PhD category and the 27th West Bengal State Eligibility Test
(SET) in English. Her research interests center on the intersection of
spirituality and humanity in literature, with a specialized focus on Feminism,
Gender Studies, and Modernism.
As
an active creative writer, Sangita has authored published works such as the
poetry collections River Goes Like You and Me, Still in Raindrop Every Part
Remains, and Dry September Again Seeking the Truth, as well as the novel My
Devotion to You. Beyond her writing, she is an accomplished orator, having
secured the 1st position in the Jalpaiguri Divisional Level Youth Parliament
Extempore Speech Competition (2022-2023). She also earned 2nd position in the
Young Writer's Contest during the Yuva Utsav held at Falakata College. Her work
continues to explore how literature and faith serve as restorative forces for
the human spirit.
