Ukil Mahato is a PhD Research Scholar in the Department of
English at C.M.P. Degree College, a Constituent P.G. College of University of
Allahabad, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India. He has done his graduation and
post-graduation in English from Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University, Purulia. He then
has obtained his Bachelor of Education (B.ED.) degree from WBUTTEPA, Kolkata.
He has successfully qualified NET-JRF, WBSET, CTET. His areas of interest
include Environmental Humanities, Anthropocene, Climate Change, Ecocriticism,
Indian Literature, and American Literature. He has presented papers in national
and international seminars, and participated in various national and international
seminars, conferences, FDPs, workshops, short -term courses.
