Darakhshan Hashmi is a
dedicated scholar of English literature currently pursuing her doctoral
research at Aligarh Muslim University. She completed her Master’s degree in
English from the same institution. She has qualified the UGC NET examination
four times and has also cleared GATE. Her research interests encompass exile
studies, partition studies, the politics of language, and culinary narratives.
She has actively engaged in academic discourse through participation in GIAN
courses and by presenting papers at various national and international
conferences. Committed to interdisciplinary inquiry, her work critically
examines the intersections of memory, identity, and cultural expression in
literary texts.
