Dr. Shanta Surejya currently works as an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of English, Udit Narayan P. G. College, Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh. She has done her Ph. D from the Department of English, Banaras Hindu University on the topic- “CONTRIBUTION OF MAJOR AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN PLAYWRIGHTS: AN EVALUATION”. She has to her credit several research papers published in the area of Cultural Studies, Theatre & Performance Studies, Partition Literature, Disability Studies & Maithili Literature. She has also presented several papers at National and International Conferences and Seminars.
