Dr. Vinamrata is currently posted as an Assistant Professor in the
University Department of English, B. R. A. Bihar University, Muzaffarpur. As an
alumnus of St. Xavier's School, Bokaro and Banaras Hindu University she had the
perfect opportunity to hone her literary pursuits and has developed an insight
for Post-colonial Studies, Indian Writing in English, Mythical Studies as well
as Feminist Writings. She was awarded her doctorate degree in 2016 from Banaras
Hindu University for the topic, “Writing Resistance: The Politics of Nation
Formation, Racism and Neo-Imperialism in the Fiction of Salman Rushdie”. She
has a deep inclination for poetry writing as well as storytelling. As a
passionate educator and writer, she has several articles published in UGC
approved and peer-reviewed Journals. As a bilingual author she has co-authored
two poetry books, Mirari: A Collection of Poetry and DararonkiRoshni.
Recently her article has been published from Cambridge Scholars Publishing in
the book titled, Cultural and Literary Traditions in India.Her frequent
poetry recitation sessions have been broadcasted from Doordarshan, Bihar.
