Kamal Barman is a doctoral candidate in English Literature atthe Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. His research focuses on the intersections of gender, space, and embodiment, with a particular focus on transgender spatial practices in South Asia. His work has appeared in Literature & Aesthetics, an international refereed journal from the University of Sydney.
