Masiur Rahaman has been teaching at the Department of English at Samsi
College, under the University of Gour Banga, since 2019. He completed his B.A.
in English (Honours) from Gour Mahavidyalaya. Later, he completed his master’s
in English and his B.Ed. from Malda Holy Child. College under the University of
Gour Banga. He subsequently obtained an M.Phil. from Raiganj University. He
serves as a Co-editor for Shershabader Kagoch, a literary and research
journal. He authored two books, Father’s Radio & Other Stories and Unveiling
Shershabadia Identity: History, Culture, and Literature. A published
scholar with contributions to books, journals, and academic forums, he has
research spanning Folk Studies, Film, British, Gender, Dalit, and South Asian
English Literature.
