Punnya
Kalliyat is a PhD Scholar
and Senior Research Fellow in the Department of English at St. Joseph’s College
(Autonomous), Devagiri. Her research interests include autopathography, gender
studies, health humanities, life writing, and mad studies. Her doctoral
research centers on the gendered pathways of madness in schizophrenia memoirs.
She has published several research articles on illness memoirs in academic
journals and book chapters in edited volumes. Her recent book review on Hospital can
be seen in Routledge’s Life Writing.
