Ruchika Hooda holds a Ph.D. in English from Maharshi Dayanand
University, Rohtak (2023), and has qualified the UGC-NET (June 2019). She also
holds an MPhil in English from the same department. She has served as an Assistant
Professor at Chandigarh University and as a Guest Skill Assistant Professor at
Shri Vishwakarma Skill University. She has completed certificate courses in
Understanding Research Methods, Critical Thinking Skills for the Professional,
and Learning, Knowledge, and Human Development from Coursera. Her research
interests include Indian English Literature, mythology, and environmental
humanities, focusing on Alternate History and Deep Ecology, with an emphasis on
eco-conscious literary inquiry.
