Ankita Mookherjee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Muzaffar Ahmed Mahavidyalaya, Salar, Murshidabad. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Diamond Harbour Women's University, where her research focuses on the Progressive Writers' Movement. Her academic interests include Postcolonial Feminism, Spatial Theory, and South Asian literary and cultural studies. Her research particularly explores questions of gender, space, representation, and resistance in twentieth-century Urdu literature.
