Neton
Mondal is a researcher in English Literature at Aligarh Muslim University,
Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India. His areas of interests include ecocriticism,
environmental justice, environmental humanities, indigenous knowledge, language
and literature, modern poetry and cultural studies. His work explores the
relationship between human and non-human agencies. Their importance and values
are also topics of his writings. At the same time he also represents the
sustaining power of indigenous knowledge in ameliorating climate crises. He is
also eager to decolonial approach to texts of different kinds in contemporary
writings. He is also engaged in campaigning for community awareness and
participation for a better and inclusive planet.
