Susmita Roy is an M.A. student and an independent researcher at the department of English, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh. She has a vast fathomed interest in literature. Her essay has been selected in top-20 list in a national essay writing competition entitled “Write to Fight Covid-19” in Bangladesh. Her three poems have been selected for publication in an upcoming anthology of versatile poems Ventlogue which will be published by Blue Diamond publishing House. Along with that, her another article on “Montagu’s The Turkish Embassy Letters: the Questions of Perception and Representation in Travel Narratives” has been selected for publication in an upcoming October special issue of CafĂ© Dissensus.
