Dr. Fedya Daas holds a Phd from the University of Letters,
Arts and Humanities, Manouba, Tunis. Her thesis examined the rhetoric of
nationalism in the works of W. B Yeats and James Joyce. Her research interests
are comparative literature and Irish literature. She participated in Dublin
James Joyce and SligoYeats Summer Schools in Ireland and the workshops of Zurich
James Joyce Foundation in Switzerland. She has published many articles on Yeats
and Joyce such as “Masked Licence”: Parody, Heroism and the Yeatsian Theory of
the Mask, Yeats’s Aestheticization of Death and Yeats’s Magic Nationalism. She
is an active participant in national and international events and conferences.
Chief among them the annual James Joyce Birthday Conference in Italy.
