despots dictate
with evil egos~
holocaustian hate.

a game of chess
with brutal moves
is ruthlessly played
once again
the pawns are snared.
once again
“they” are blind~
blind and deaf
and mute;
sailing in a sea of lies
they will not dispute.
once again
the blood of war
will be etched
in reams of history.
once again
our lack of
learning
will remain a
mystery.
