Shubhangi Srivastava is pursuing her Ph.D. on the plays of the revolutionary Bhojpuri playwright and performer, Bhikhari Thakur.  Her poems, stories, articles, and translations have been published in publications such as The Blahcksheep, The Indian Review, Borderless, Booked For Life, and The Indian Periodical.
