DISARRAY - Anushka Mitra (India)

DISARRAY

-         Anushka Mitra (India)

Worn out Days pass by.

I have grown numb.

The heaviness has returned.

Perching on heart, disrupting its hum.

Wish I could just be one with you

And ripple away to the horizon.

Or be a part of the murky cloud

And pour down in million.

The sound of the deep sea is calling.

The Lightning is alluring.

The sand beneath feet wants to tickle.

Though the Sun can be deluding.

I want to be dissolved and discovered.

And to get lost and also be found.

Want to be drowned and saved.

In your lap want to sleep sound.

Worn out Days pass by.

I have grown numb.

The world seems drowsy or is it I?

The calling sea is where I wish to succumb.
