Karma Kumar
is a PhD Research Scholar in the Department of English Language and Literature,
Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University, Ranchi,
Jharkhand, India. He has completed his Master Degree in English from Dr.
Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University, Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. He qualified UGC
NET-JRF in the year 2020. He is Faculty in the Department of English Language
and Literature, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University, Ranchi, Jharkhand. His
area of interest is tribal Studies, culture and festivals. His topic of dissertation
is “Postcolonial Study on the Works of Afro-American and British Diaspora
Novelist.” He has also presented his
paper “Relevance of Cultural Practices and Beliefs in Mahadev Toppo’s Lessons
from Forest and Mountain” at International Conference on Reimagining Planetary and
Earth Family, organized by Department of English in collaboration with Malviya Centre for
Ethics and Human Values, in Banaras Hindu University.
