Shweta Gaurav is a PhD Research Scholar in the university department of English in Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University, Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. She has completed her Master's Degree in M.A. (English) from Central University of Jharkhand, India. She has seven years of teaching experience in Govt. College. Her areas of interest are Commonwealth literature, Postcolonial literature and Gender Studies. Her topic of Dissertation is “Representation of Women: With Special Reference to Shashi Deshpande’s The Dark Hold No Terrors and That Long Silence.” She has presented her papers in various national and international seminars and also her papers have been published in different ISBN, ISSN, Peer-reviewed, and UGC-Care-listed journals.
