Bhaswati Mondal is a recent postgraduate in English Literature from St. Paul’s Cathedral Mission College, University of Calcutta. She is a resident of Kolkata with deep cultural roots in Bengal. Her academic interests lie in Cross-cultural Postcolonial Literature, World Literature, and Indian Literature, with a keen focus on exploring trauma narratives and cultural storytelling. Bhaswati, a passionate reader and cinephile, actively engages in academic discourse, presenting papers at international literary conferences across India. She consistently enhances her academic profile through seminars, workshops, internships, research training programs, NPTEL short-term courses and volunteering in literary events. With one journal article already published and others under review, she aspires to contribute innovative research and critical insights to the field of literary studies.
