Dr Amrita Das, an Assistant Professor at St. Xavier’s College,
Ahmedabad, has completed her PhD from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. An
Alumna of the University of Calcutta, she has taught in other colleges and
universities earlier. Being a passionate researcher, she has published papers
in both National and International Journals and book chapters as well. She
presented research papers at reputable universities and earned a $440 award from
the University of Oregon, Eugene, USA. Recently, she has been awarded a
merit-cum-scholarship from (IMPRI), Impact and Policy Research Institute, New
Delhi, for her research. She writes blogs for IMPRI and the Medium platform
about women and gender issues.
