Syed Ali Hamid (retired Professor of English, Kumaun University Campus, Almora, Uttarakhand, India) has published five books of poetry, the latest being The Alchemy of Ageing (New Delhi: Authorspress, 2021).In addition to planning another volume of verse, he is working on his book of short stories.
