Huma Yaqub, M.A., Ph.D. (A.M.U. Aligarh). Presently working
as Professor, Department of English, and In-Charge of Lucknow Campus of Maulana
Azad National Urdu University. She has more than 20 years of teaching and
research experience. She has deep interest in literature with environmental
concerns and was awarded Visiting Research Fellowship in the area of
environmental humanities by Swiss National Science Foundation in 2022 at the
Department of English, University of Bern, Switzerland. Her other research
interests include Urdu Literature in Translation, Orientalism, Postcolonial
Literature and Indian Literature in English etc. Her published works include more
than 24 research papers in various reputed national and international journals
and edited books. She has delivered many invited talks in various National and
International seminars, conferences and workshops on Ecocriticism and
Environmental ethics and other topics in English Literature.
