Shirsendu Mondal is Assistant Professor of English at Barasat College, West Bengal
India. He has co-edited anthologies of critical essays on Indian English poetry
and Marlowe’s Edward the Second. He has contributed book chaptersto
several edited volumes, most notably, Writing Difference: Nationalism
Identity and Literature, Atlantic, 2014;Partition Literature and Cinema,
Routledge, 2020; and Popular Literature: Texts, Contexts, Contestations,
Ibidem, 2022.
Professor
Mondal is currently doing PhD at Aliah University, Kolkata. His research area
is power and resistance in postmillennial Indian English novel.
