Abhisek Khan is a research scholar at Bankura University, Department of Political Science. His research focuses on decentralized governance, tribal studies, gender and empowerment, rural political dynamics,social mobility with particular emphasis on empirical and field-based analysis.
He has a keen interest in interdisciplinary research, combining insights from political theory, sociology, and data analysis to understand contemporary governance challenges. He has presented papers at national and international conferences and is actively working towards publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
His broader academic interests include political behaviour, public policy, electoral studies, development studies, educational studies, and he aims to contribute to policy-relevant research that bridges the gap between academia and grassroots realities.
